Day 1: Half-Day City Tour of Tehran
Epic Persia’s tour director welcomes you at Imam Khomeini International Airport.
Transfer to Tehran and visit to Golestan Palace UNESCO SITE Which belongs to Zandieh and Qajar dynasties. The visit includes the Anthropology museum, one of the oldest and richest anthropological museums in the country. Moreover there are various clothing of regions during Qajarid era and other interesting things for visitors.
Afterwards transfer to Mehrabad Airport for the flight to Shiraz. On the way to Airport, you may have (optional) photo stop by Azadi Tower, one of the symbols of Tehran and a unique construction with a mix concept of Islamic and modern architecture.
Upon arrival in Shiraz, the city of poets, gardens and nightingales, transfer to Farashband, the area of Qashqaei nomadic tribe in winter quarters.
Day 2: Full Day Qashqai nomadic lifestyle
After having local breakfast, You will enjoy some daily working and life style of Qashqai nomads, including ewes’ milking, making butter, musical Soirees and listening to folk tales.
Day 3: Nomadic Lifestyle
Full day tour of nomadic life-style including baking breads, cooking pottage (Ash) or other local foods. Visiting Qashqai carpet weaving, Jajim weaving, Gabeh weaving. Almost all of these activities are done by nomadic Qashqai women.
Day 4: Sightseeing Grazing Herd
After having local breakfast (including local bread, cheese and butter), you will explore a half day tour by sightseeing Grazing Sheep and goats herd, held by Qashqai people. The live sheep are categorized based on wool and meat type, and one of the best sheep breeds in Iran is the Qashqai sheep for its meat.
Day 5: Horse Riding (optional)
Visiting horse riding location, by the local guide. Dere-Shorlu or Dareshuri is qashqaei horse race derived from a place in Semirom utilized for summer camping of Dare shouri tribe. At the end, we would like to have you in a friendly circle as a Farewell Dinner.
Note: The horse riding day is optional during the Itinerary. You can add days or omit them by coordination in advance.
Day 6: Homebound
Early morning (or midnight) transfer to Shiraz Airport for the flight back home with a full pack of memorable moments and nice pictures to share with your family and friends.

Note: Visa fee must be paid by the passengers to the consular section of Iranian embassy upon receiving their visa sticker. The passengers must indicate the city in which they like to get their visa sticker (where there is an Iranian embassy consular section) upon purchasing the tour.

Note 3: Working days in Iran are Saturday – Wednesday. Thursdays are half day however many offices are closed on Thursdays.
