Day 1: Tehran and Kashan
Epic Persia’s tour director welcomes you at Imam Khomeini International Airport. After meet and greet, If you arrive in the morning, you will have a half excursion in Tehran.
Visit to UNESCO World Heritage Golestan Palace, the first royal building in Tehran. Afterwards, based on the time, visit to Abgineh Museum also known as Glassware and Ceramic Museum. formerly It was house of Qavam (noble family). Then transfer to Kashan.
If you arrive in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Kashan right away.
Day 2: Kashan, Matin Abad
80 km driver to Matin Abad, via Dehabad. You will have a stop in ancient city of Kashan to visit Fin Royal Garden (UNESCO SITE) with its historical highlights. A cool place to rest for a while at the edge of the desert and see the small pavilion at its heart. Afterwards you will depart Kashan.
En route you have a stop over to visit Deh abad village. Upon arrival in Matinabad Desert Camp, there are biking, camel & horse riding, ostrich farm, organic farm, camel & horse breeding farm all available to visit and enjoy. The amazing part of this day will be 4w Safari on sandy hills.
Overnight stay in Matinabad Desert Camp. In Koomeh (hut/ room), room or tent (as per your inquiry). At night you can enjoy observing stars by telescope.
Note 1: Driving in ramp and sand dunes by 4WD for an hour or more.

Day 3: Cities in Desert
Departure from Matin Abad to Ardestan (147km) via Natanz, Amiran village, and Zavareh. Upon arrival in Naein you will start by sightseeing ancient Narin Castle (Narin Qale), also known as the orange castle. Then you will proceed to visit water storage and the wind catcher. En route, short visit to Amiran village on tourist vehicle, next you will arrive in Zavareh with some outstanding inspections in old city and bazar.
You will start by Zavareh Grand Mosque, the first four-portico (Iwan) one, dating back to Seljuk-era. Other attractions include Zavareh minaret in Pa Minar Mosque and Zavareh Eight Paradises Qajarid house, Sang Bast Castle as the biggest castle after Alamout castle and Zavareh Historical ice-house with three Centuries antiquity.
Day 4: Garmeh Tour
Early morning sightseeing of Garmeh castle and then the 80 km drive to Salt lake in Khor & Biabanak.
Returning to Garmeh for having lunch and strolling among palm trees and medical fish warm spring.
After that, you will be guided to natural warm-water spring in the heart of mountain. The day terminates in Farahzad village (90 km).
Departure for Garmeh.
Day 5: Tabas via Farahzad
Prepare yourself for a perfect day by vising sunrise in desert. Early short excursion at 04:00 to Takhte Aroos, an awesome place in Mesr desert with an elevation of 867 m above sea level and 40 meters higher than the adjacent plain.
If you’d like trekking you will continue your walking in desert until the caravanserai and canebrake. You will stand a very good chance to see the famous desert bird, called Pleske’s ground jay or Persian ground jay. Finally, returning to Hotel for having breakfast and rest. Midday departure from Farahzad to Tabas via Bayazeh village, an archeological research site and old castle (322 km).
Day 6: Tabas Tour
First, visit to Morteza Ali spring, with both hot and cold water in Khero village. The canals date back to Sassanid era. Then you will proceed to beautiful Golshan garden related to Zand and Qajar dynasties.
Day 7: Kal-e Jenni
In the morning, you will continue sightseeing of Tabas, starting with Azmighan Village with paddy and palm trees around it. Next stop will be a mysterious valley named Kal-e Jenni / Valley of the Jinn.
Day 8: Gonabad via Ferdows (Optional)
Morning departure for Gonabad via Ferdows; the ancient city of Toon or Tūn. In Ferdows, you will visit Koushk Historical Complex Including a mosque, a hammam, and a cistern, located near Ghayen Gate.
Continuing the road to Gonabad for visiting wonderful UNESCO World Heritage Ghasabe Qanats of Gonabad or Kariz Kai Khosrow, one of the oldest qanats in the world founded by Cyrus the great in 6th century BC. The visit also includes the historical Nashtifan Windmills.
Day 9: Mashhad via Neyshabur (Optional)
Departure from Gonabad for Mashhad via Neyshabur, one of the oldest cities in Iran. City tour will start with Tomb of Omar Khayyam, Persian mathematician, astronomer, and well-known poet. Next visits include Tomb of Attar of Neyshabur, well known Persian poet of 12th century, Shadiyakh also called Shadi palace. Finally ,transfer to Mashhad.
NOTE: Opti0nal days (8th and 9th days) are mostly like classic tours unlike the adventure and desert theme of the tour. You can either go directly to Mashhad from Tabas (555 km) and get prepared for the next day or take one or both optional days on your plan.
Day 10: Kalat Naderi Excursion
An excursion (156 km) to Kalat Naderi or Kalat Nader village located in the middle of the mountains of Hezar Masjed. The best season to see Kalat Naderi is spring because of beautiful nature of the region. You might see Nomads in the mountain range, as well as many sheep flocks in of the most beautiful roads in this area. Returning to Mashhad.
Day 11: Homebound
Early morning (or midnight) transfer to Mashhad (MHD) international Airport for flight back home with a full pack of memorable moments and nice pictures to share with your family and friend.
Note: If your flight is in the afternoon or at night, You will have enough time to have a half day tour of Mashhad. Visit to Imam Reza Shrine or Ravazi Haram including a grand complex of mosques like Goharshad Mosque, dating back to Timurid dynasty, religious schools, museums, libraries, and seminaries, Many buildings of this shrine have remained since Safavid and Qajarid era.
Visit to Tomb of Nader Shah and Ferdowsi ‘s mausoleum, the poet of valuable epic Persian book named Shahnameh . Transfer to Mashhad International Airport.
